King British Sludge Remover 250ml

Sludge Remover is a unique blend of naturally occurring bacteria that consume organic waste (including sludge from dead algae) from ponds and filters.

Over time a layer of sludge can build up on the bottom of your pond, consisting of dead plants, algae, fish waste, uneaten food, leaves and other dead organic matter. Sludge can be dangerous to fish because it reduces the amount of oxygen available for respiration, and it can release dangerous gasses into the water.

Sludge reduces the efficiency of the filter leading to poor water quality.
Sludge encourages excessive algae growth, which can choke the pond.
Sludge is also unsightly and can make ponds look murky and dirty.

Use King British Sludge Remover:

Every 2 weeks from early Spring through to mid Autumn to reduce the need for filter cleaning
To reduce the chance of low oxygen problems in the water
When silt builds up or the water becomes cloudy
After using products to control algae, green water and blanket weed
