Gravity filters descriptionPond gravity filter models require installation at or above the desired outlet to the pond for example at the top of a waterfall. Pond gravity filters are the most commonly used pond filter due to these filter units being economically priced. Nearly all the smaller box type pond gravity filters are of a combined design. The combined design incorporates an ultra violet clarifier usually situated in the lid with a highly efficient biological/mechanical filter in the box. The larger pond gravity filters usually used on Koi or large mixed fish ponds do not come with a uvc which has to be purchased separately unless bought in a Pond Pump & Filter Kit. |
