Each temperature requires different pond care to ensure a healthy pond environment. It depends on the water temperature whether you aerate additionally or select a special food. The colder the temperature, the slower the metabolism and the energy requirements of the fish are. The fish’s energy requirements increase conversely in summer. JBL recommendation

Above 28 °C, aerate additionally. Below 15 °C, feed dedicated low-temperature food. At 4°C: switch off any technical equipment (e.g. water clarifier).
